Welcome to Our Website

Sudbury Right to Life
is a trans-denominational non-profit organization, which was formed in the Fall of 1971, by a number of concerned citizens, to promote respect for all forms of human life from the moment of conception onward. Its members are united by the following principles:
-
The right to life is the basic human right, on which all other rights depend.
- All human beings share this right equally, both before and after birth.
- Society has a duty to protect this right through legislation.
- We respect life from conception to natural death.
Our particular concern is the unborn child, whose right to life is presently denied!
We believe that human problems - like poverty, unwanted pregnancy, overpopulation, etc., should be solved in positive, constructive ways, without intentionally and violently killing our most innocent citizens ... by abortion!
We would be pleased to provide speakers, audio visual aids, and other educational resource material to help further your understanding of crucial life issues.
More details about our group can be found here.
40 Day For Life Prayer Vigil
A Message For the Lenten Season
The Holy Father Benedict XVI,in his 2011 Lenten Message"sees in this Sunday's Gospel Matt4:1-11 an invitation for all of us to become aware of the battle to be done with the masters of darkness in the world". The Sudbury Right to Life Committee ask that all the faithful join with us this Lent, in prayer and sacrifice, to invoke an outpouring of the Holy Spirit,to effect a change of heart and mind among those who facilitate and or pursue the ending of Life ,before God's intended time. That they come to acknowledge and respect the Sacredness of Life,WE PRAY TO THE LORD.

Life Chain - October 2, 2011
What Is LIFE CHAIN?
Annually, on the first Sunday in October, LIFE CHAIN invites the churches in each city and town across North America to stand on a designated local sidewalk and pray for one hour, while holding one of the following approved pro-life sign messages:
- ABORTION KILLS CHILDREN
- JESUS FORGIVES AND HEALS
- ADOPTION: THE LOVING OPTION
- LORD, FORGIVE US AND OUR NATION
- ABORTION HURTS WOMEN
- PRAY TO END ABORTION
- LIFE THE FIRST INALIENABLE RIGHT
In 2010, over 1450 cities and towns held Life Chains (in over 1700 locations), and each Chain is posted at LifeChain.net. We are now focusing on National Life Chain Sunday 2011 to be held October 2, Lord willing, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm (or the time preferred by the local Life Chain Committee) in each time zone across North America. Inform your local pastors of your Life Chain plans as soon as possible, and ask them to schedule your Chain on their church calendar.
